According to the UNB report, 47 more people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue in the 24 hours till Saturday morning.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the official number of deaths from the mosquito-borne disease remained unchanged at 281 as no fatalities were recorded during the period.
The DGHS said that of the new patients, 26 were admitted to hospitals in Dhaka and 21 to hospitals outside.
A total of 338 dengue patients, including 161 in the capital, are now undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
The DGHS has reported 62,382 dengue cases and 61,763 cured patients so far this year.
