This is the biggest distribution program since independence, the House said, adding that rice and flour are distributed through 2,500 dealers across the country.
“OMS is not done at this time of the year, we are giving rice at 30 taka per kg and flour at 24 taka per kg under the program this year.”
He claimed that Bangladesh has enough rice reserves to meet the demand.
