A study states that 57 percent of mobile Internet users in Bangladesh believe that mobile devices can generate new sources of income.

Telenor Asia last year conducted a study titled “Digital Lives Decoded” across eight markets in South and Southeast Asia. The study was conducted among 8000 mobile internet users in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Through the initial revelation five major trends were outlined that served as pivots for digital adaptation. Following this, Telenor Asia unveiled the second part of its study that outlines the changing work practices supported by mobile connectivity.
