In Sylhet, 55 per cent paddy was harvested in Horon, 70 per cent in Moulvibazar, 67 per cent in Habiganj, 73 per cent in Sunamganj, 58 per cent in Kishoreganj, 77 per cent in Netrokona and 67 per cent. The press release states that the crop was harvested in Brahmanbaria.
Ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, Agriculture Minister Mohammad Abdur Razzaq said that if no natural calamity strikes and paddy is harvested on time, Boro production will set a record this crop.
