Earlier on Friday, Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and activists gathered in a ‘secret meeting’ inside a building in Block-D, Road No-29 of Bashundhara residential area of the city.
As per the case, they had gathered in secret meeting with the object of spreading terrorist activities among the public, conspiracy to overthrow the government, vandalize government buildings and vehicles and create threat.
A case under the Anti-Terrorism Act was registered at the capital’s Bhatara police station on Friday night.
