Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan said that trains will run between Dhaka and Cox’s Bazar in September as 84 per cent work on the ‘Dohajri-Cox’s Bazar Railway Project’ has been completed.
The remaining works will be completed before next September.
The Minister disclosed this on Tuesday after visiting the iconic railway station under construction in Chanderpara area of Jhilongjha Union of Cox’s Bazar.
He said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is very serious about the development of Cox’s Bazar, which is known as the capital of tourism. The rail project is being implemented there in their interest.
