The conference began with welcome remarks by Professor Dr. Liza Sharmin, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, DIU. Special Chief Guest, Ute Eckertz, Representative, German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, said, “As we know, Bangladesh has been ranked very low in freedom of speech rankings over the years, and this ultimately hinders overall progress. country. Now is the time to take necessary steps and CGEN 2023 will prove to be a milestone in this regard.”
Chief Guest, Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, DIU presented as the Chief Guest of the inaugural session of the conference. He said, “We organize many conferences, workshops every year, enriching our students and professionals. We will ensure that the 8th CJEN Bangladesh Networking Conference is the most successful one.”
