Moreover, according to the Health Directorate, a total of 2,158 people – 585 in Dhaka and 1,573 in the districts – have been hospitalized due to mosquito-borne viral fever during this period.
Of the new deaths, eight were reported from Dhaka, while the remaining seven were from outside the capital.
