ACC prosecutes three WASA officials on corruption charges

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Wednesday filed a case against three officials of Dhaka Wasa for embezzling Taka 2.49 billion from the Program for Performance Improvement (PPI) project over 10 years, UNB reported.

The accused are former WASA revenue inspector and PPI project co-chairman Miya Mohd Mizanur Rahman, former revenue inspector Mohd Habib Ullah Bhuyin, and computer operator (outsourcing) Mohd Naemul Hasan.
