On Friday, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Additional Director General (Administration) Professor MD Zahid Raihan told Prothom Alo that the investigation report would be submitted on Saturday.

The minister said, “The mothers of the children are at different places. Their views will be heard and those cases will be included in the investigation.”

He declined to comment on the findings of the investigation so far. He said, “Six children died at the same time. You can understand what the investigation can reveal. The children did not die of hyper syndrome (a condition with severe symptoms).”

He said, “We have obtained all the evidence and explanations. But I will not reveal the summary now. Let us first take the statements of the mothers. If anything further comes to light, we will consider all things together and then speak about it. The report will be submitted on June 3.”
