Admission quota for MPs challenged

Admission quota for the member of Parliaments for admission in the non government educational institutes is challenged in the high court.
Few days ago a parliamentary committee urged the education ministry to change the rule for admission in non government educational institutes so that two percent of the seats can be reserved for the candidates recommended by the lawmakers.

Later there was report that the education ministry has decided to implement the directive by the parliamentary committee.

Two right organization Bangladesh legal Aid & Service and Ain O Salish Kendra jointly filed a writ petition before a bench of high court c challenging the move. But the high court adjourned the petition and said it will hear the petition if the government takes the final decision and announces it formally.
