Railway will sell advance ticket from 21st August to 25th August to cope with rush of homebound passengers on the Holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest Muslim festival.
Railway in also introduce 43 rail coaches before the Eid. Tickets for 26th August will be available on 21st August, similarly, other dates are: for 27th on 22nd, for 28th on 23rd, for 29th on 24th and for 30th on 25th. Tickets will be available from Dhaka Kamlapur station, Airport station, Chittagong, and Sylhet station.
State owned bus transport ‘Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation’ (BRTC) will run special Eid service and this Eid service tickets will be available from the 16th August. About 300 new and old buses will be added to this special Eid service. These buses will start from Joarshahara, Motijheel, Kalyanpur, Mirpur 12, Phulbaria, Gabtoli, Mohakhali, Ariport, and cantonment.
Tickets will be available from BRTC bus depot and a control room (phone-9564361) will be active to provide information.
