The advocacy session brought together representatives from BBS, district administrations, local government institutions, civil society organisations, women’s think tanks and other key stakeholders to strengthen the collection, analysis and use of gender-disaggregated data at the local level.
BBS Director General (Ad Interim) Mohammad Obaidul Islam graced the session as the chief guest, while Director of Demography and Health Wing Mohammad Imdadul Haq presided as the speaker. Shireen Sultana, Partnership Advisor at UNOPS, was also present as the guest of honor at the event, while Alamgir Hossein, MD, Focal Point of SDG Cell, presented the welcome address.
