Sheikh Jamal Dhanmandi Club emerged victorious by 13 runs over Prime Bank Cricket Club in a Dhaka Premier League (DPL) Super League match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday, reported news agency UNB.
Sent in to bat, Sheikh Jamal posted 276-6 thanks to opener Saif Hasan’s 102-ball 83, which included three fours and five sixes.
In reply, young prodigies Navroz Nabil and Shahadat Hossain scored 75 and 66 respectively but could not take their team over the line as Prime Bank were bundled out for 263 in 49.2 overs.
