The United States has issued a comprehensive travel advisory for people planning to visit Bangladesh due to ‘crime, terrorism and upcoming general election threats’ here.
The US specifically asked its citizens to reconsider travel to the Chattogram Hills due to ‘periodic communal violence, crime, terrorism, kidnapping and other security risks’.
