Arguing in favor of his statement, Mirza Fakhrul Islam said that the US human rights report mentioned more than the issues that local media talk about. This proves that they are not happy with the current situation in Bangladesh.
He also mentioned the etiquette of maintaining diplomatic relations between countries.
“Everyone has to maintain diplomatic relations with other countries. That's why they continue it (the relationship).' They even have to maintain relations with the military rulers. Against the current situation in Bangladesh, they are doing what they think is beneficial for them. Still, they are not doing anything against the people of Bangladesh,” he explained.
