Another Bangladeshi was killed by Indian border security force BSF yesterday. Indian border guards are notorious for their human rights violations. They have made India Bangladesh border as the deadliest border in the world.
BSF chief and Indian foreign ministry has repeatedly assured that they will take necessary steps. But the scenario remains the same. They have promised to use non lethal weapon in India Bangladesh border.
It seems they are taking some innovative approaches. Sirajul Islam, 25, son of Akbar Ali was beaten to death in Sharsha upazila of Jessore district early yesterday. He was coming back to Bangladesh with cattle and captured by BSF. They beat him severely. BSF soldiers left the scene amid protest from his fellows. But Sirajul Islam died of his injuries.
Cow is a holy animal according to Hindu belief and this is why Indian authority is reluctant to legalize cattle trading, some right wing Indian politicians want strong action against cattle trading in India Bangladesh border.
