Born on December 27, 1943 in Brahmanbaria, Mubashar studied at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. He designed several notable buildings in Bangladesh including Chattogram Railway Station, Proshika Bhavan and Grameen Bank Bhawan.
His mortal remains will be taken to the IAB campus in Agargaon on Monday for people to pay their respects. Funeral prayer for Mubashar will be held twice at IAB and Brothers Union.
Following his last wish, the architect’s body will be donated to the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.
