Chief of Army Staff General Wakar-uz-Zaman returned home on Friday after completing an official visit to the United States (US).
During the visit, he participated in various events in the US state of Georgia and met key dignitaries, an ISPR release said on Friday.
A special resolution was presented to General Wakar-uz-Zaman by the State of Georgia in recognition of the commendable role of Bangladeshi peacekeepers in UN peacekeeping missions.
Issues of mutual interest between Bangladesh and the United States were also discussed in the meetings.
