Feyenoord coach Arne Slot confirmed on Friday that he will replace Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager next season.
Slott told reporters, “There has been no official announcement yet – but I don't think it will be news to you that I will be the coach there next season.”
The BBC said last month that Slott's deal to replace Klopp was worth up to £9.4 million (10.9 million euros).
“The feeling that I'm leaving here is getting stronger. There are some guys you just don't want to shake hands with,” Slott said before his last game at the club.
“At that time, it is not about whether you have become champion or won the cup, but about the appreciation among the people,” he said.
