At least 10 children were killed when a boat carrying students of a religious school capsized at Tanda Dam in northwest Pakistan on Sunday.
Six others were injured and taken to hospital, according to Furqan Khan, deputy commissioner of Kohat district in northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, where the accident took place.
The victims were young students of a religious school nearby, Khan said. More students were missing, officials said, not providing details on how many.
