At least 24 people were killed when a bus carrying 60 passengers plunged off a cliff in northern Peru early Saturday, police told local media.
Peru’s transport supervisory agency (Sutran) confirmed the accident in a statement, without any deaths or injuries.
The accident occurred in the El Alto district in Peru’s far north on a bus belonging to the company Q’Aurianca Tours Aguila Dorada, the source said.
