Austria has offered to take skilled workers from Bangladesh and invest in our green energy, especially wind and waste2energy sectors. Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg gave this information to Foreign Minister Hassan Mahmood at a bilateral meeting in Vienna today, Monday.
The two Foreign Ministers agreed to deepen bilateral relations in the areas of economic cooperation, trade and investment, migration and mobility, climate change, waste management, as well as post-secondary trade facilities for Bangladesh.
They also agreed that there are ample opportunities to increase bilateral trade and Austrian investment in Bangladesh. Both Ministers underlined the importance of early signing of the proposed agreement for exchange of trade missions as well as to avoid double taxation in this regard.
