Awami League presidium member Mohammad Abdur Razzak on Monday said the government has been successful in running the state while Awami League leaders and workers are on the streets, and therefore the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will not succeed by launching an agitation.

The minister also said that the Awami League under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina has shown excellent success in governing the state and has taken the country to a new height globally with unprecedented development in all fields. Similarly, the leaders and workers of the Awami League, who were organised, have been successful on the streets. As a result, the BNP will never succeed by launching an agitation, he said.

Abdur Razzaq, referring to BNP’s previous movements, said that BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami wanted to sabotage the elections; They want to create anarchy and instability through violence as they did in 2014 but Awami League leaders and workers will oppose them.
