Awami League will hold procession, rally, road march in Dhaka throughout October

Dhaka North City Awami League is set to host a public meeting on October 14 at Kaola Civil Aviation grounds near the airport, in which Awami League chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be the chief guest. The rally was initially planned for October 7 with the partial inauguration of the third terminal of Shahjalal International Airport, but the rally was rescheduled and will now take place on October 14.

Dhaka North City Awami League sources say that five programs announced by the City Awami League before the rally are ready to ensure the success of the October 14 rally.

As part of these preparations, a rally and procession took place in Gabtali on 9 October. North City Awami League also held a representative meeting on 10 October. Worker meetings and processions were organized in Turag, Uttara and Uttara West police station areas of Dhaka-18 constituency on Wednesday.

On Thursday, all the police station workers under Dhaka-14, 15 and 16 constituencies are taking out a procession. On Friday, a committee meeting and procession will be taken out at the police stations of Dhaka-11, 12 and 13 parliamentary constituencies. These events will conclude with the Prime Minister’s rally on October 14.
