Earlier, leaders and workers of Jatiyatabadi Tanti Dal led by Moin Khan paid tribute to Zia by paying floral tributes at her grave on the occasion of the 44th foundation anniversary of the BNP affiliate.

He also offered Mujazaat there praying for the salvation of Zia’s departed soul.

Regarding the 12th Parliament election, Moyane insisted that the results were predetermined, with the government selecting winners for each seat before election day on 7 January. “That’s why the people of the country boycotted the elections.”

He said that there is no democracy in this country because the government has grabbed power by taking away the voting rights of the people. “Even, major international media outlets and magazines are saying that Bakshal-2 has been established in Bangladesh.”

The BNP leader also said that the attack by members of law enforcement agencies on the ‘peaceful’ BNP rally on October 28 was a crackdown by the government on opposition parties.
