Visiting the site on Friday morning, Director General of Fire Services Brigadier General MD Main Uddin told the media that the establishment had no fire safety plan and had informed the authorities about the fire hazards.
The building houses some major eateries, including Kachi Bhai and a clothing store. It is usually crowded in the evening when people visit the restaurant with their loved ones.
