MCC (Multimedia Content and Communications) Ltd has released an application for smart phone operating system android. This new application will enable the users to send and receive Bangla SMS on their phone.
Users have to use phonetic keyboard to type Bangla text. Multimedia Content and Communications said they will introduce a Bangla keyboard layout in their next version. This layout is already approved by BSTI (Bangladesh Standard and Testing Institute).
Using procedure of this application is like other messaging applications. Bangla and English SMSs will be stored directly to the inbox of the application. There is also a reply option. This application is available on Google play store. Multimedia Content and Communications said they will prepare Bangla SMS for Nokia and iPhone soon.
