Ireland stand in captain Paul Stirling acknowledged that Bangladesh were “a very strong team”, but added that “he didn’t think it was going to be one-sided.”
Although he was expected to put up some resistance in Friday’s match.
“We have to think about team selection. We will have an unused pitch on Friday and hopefully we will be a step ahead. There is no dead-rubber as far as we are concerned and we want to…show that We’re serious.”
