Bangladesh cricket team is not visiting Pakistan

Since attack by some gunman on a bus carrying Sri Lankan cricket team in 2009, no cricket team has visited Pakistan. This is why Pakistan cricket board is desperate to host a test playing nation on their soil.

Pakistan cricket board says, they had no plan to arrange matches on dangerous venues. They have opted Lahore, which is a safe area. They say its Bangladesh cricket board’s decision. But they suspect that a third country may have influenced Bangladesh cricket board to take this decision.

Bangladesh cricket board’s latest decision may have a negative impact on Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), because there is speculation that Pakistan cricket board will not allow its players to play BPL now.

Many cricket lovers of Bangladesh have been expressing their concern that Pakistan is still unsafe for foreign cricketers.
