Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has again increased the price of liquefied petroleum gas by Tk 8 per 12 kg cylinder. BERC had increased the price by 41 taka last month.
The newly announced rate will come into effect from 6:00 pm today, Sunday. The price of 12 kg LPG cylinder for the month of March has been fixed at Rs 1,482, which was Rs 1,474 in February. 12 kg LPG cylinder is used in most of the houses.
The new rate of LPG was revealed in a press conference at the BERC office in the capital on Sunday. BERC Chairman MD Nurul Amin announced the new rate. The agency updates the price of LPG every month.
