Out of the total capacity, 14,800 MW power was generated on Tuesday alone, breaking all previous records. This has been recorded as the highest ever daily power generation in the country.
Earlier last year on April 16, 14,782 MW power was generated, which is the second highest.
BPDB Director (Public Relations) Shamim Hasan told BSS that around 14,800 MW power generation was recorded at 9:00 pm (peak hour) on Tuesday.
