Liton Das had a light smile on his face while entering the press conference room and the same smile remained while coming out also. In between, amidst the many questions, came the uncomfortable topic – whether Bangladesh is able to move on from the disappointment of not playing in the recent T20 World Cup.
Liton’s response ahead of the T20 series against New Zealand in Chattogram was simple.
“Yes, I think we have progressed,” the Bangladesh captain said. “After the World Cup, during that time, we also played another tournament and the players tried to perform well there as well.”
