According to the energy regulator, the new price will be effective from Sunday evening.
This increase has come amid a rise in commodity prices in the international market. Last month, Saudi Aramco’s CP price for a tonne of propane and butane was fixed at $610 and has increased to $650 in December.
Accordingly, the price of reticulated LPG, an advanced system for supplying LPG to households as compared to conventional cylinder supply, has been fixed at Rs 104.85 per kg, up from Rs 101.02 in November. Meanwhile, the price of autogas at the consumer level for December has been fixed at Rs 60.41.
