After the half-centuries of Tanjid Hasan and Saif Hasan, thanks to the brilliant performance of spinners Rishad Hussain and Mahedi Hasan, Bangladesh defeated Zimbabwe by 34 runs in the Twenty20 International match on Friday.
Batting first after losing the toss, the tourists scored 186-5 thanks to a 120-run first-wicket partnership between Hasan (58) and Hasan (55).
Zimbabwe was all out for 152 runs with two balls remaining. Bangladesh’s win leveled the three-match series, which will be decided on Sunday in Bulawayo.
