Bangladesh Meteorological Department has predicted rain and storm for six days from Monday.

According to BMD, the country's highest average temperature of 32.9 degrees Celsius was recorded in May.

BMD released weather forecast for the month of May. It says that there may be normal rainfall in May. Apart from this, one to three mild or moderate heat waves or one or two severe heat waves may occur at some places in the country. The day temperature is likely to be higher than the night temperature throughout this month.

Beginning on April 1, the country recorded continuous heat waves across the entire past month for the first time in 76 years.
