The Crime Investigation Department (CID) of the police produced Jihad Havildar, a butcher by profession, in the court in the afternoon. CID members arrested Jihad Havildar from Mumbai.

Earlier, the CID informed the media about the arrest of Jihad Havildar. According to the CID, 24-year-old Jihad is an illegal immigrant from Dighalia, Khulna, Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, it was revealed from Khulna that the Jihad Havildar arrested in India is said to be an associate of notorious terrorist Shimul Bhuiyan, who was hired to kill MP Anwarul Azim.
