Bangladesh Open Source Network (BDOSN) organized the first AI Olympiad in Bangladesh

The first stage was an online Python programming competition held on 8 May and out of 150 participants, 50 were selected for the national stage. 45 contestants participated in the national stage held today and 10 of them advanced to the next round.

The winners of the national round are: Abrar Shahid of Chattogram Cantonment Public College, Adeeb Bin Qadir of South Breeze School, Arefin Anwar of Dhanmondi Govt. Ashbul Yameen Aurajon of Boys High School, Scholars School and College, MD Manjum Rahman of Faujdarhat Cadet College, Misbah Uddin Inan of Chattogram Cantonment Public College, Muhammad Saad of Monipur High School, Rafid Ahmed of Academia (Lalmatia), SM Sabib Abdullah Mastermind English Medium School, Tausif Vahid Suprov, St. Joseph's Higher Secondary School.

These winners will receive training from May 22 to May 25 and the best four trainees will participate in the first International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (IOAI) in Bulgaria in August.
