Bangladesh has reported 16 cases of COVID-19 in a day, taking the total number of infections to 2,036,897.
The death toll from the disease remained unchanged at 29,437 in the 24-hour period, according to the latest government data released on Friday.
For a positivity rate of 0.63 per cent, 2,531 samples were tested across the country.
