And the second runner-up of the contest will win $10,000 in prize money, as well as an opportunity to learn from Huawei HR experts in professional career development coaching sessions and the Catalyst Bootcamp mentorship program, and certificates.

Team FloodNOT consists of four members from different universities in Bangladesh: Lazeeb Sharar Shawok from BRAC University, MD Sajid Altaf from Islamic University of Technology, Mahreen Tabassum from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology, and Mohd Iftekher Ibne Jalal from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology.

They will present their project online in front of a panel of experienced judges. FloodNot is participating in the competition alongside other finalists from Ireland, Azerbaijan, Italy, France, Algeria, Ecuador, Bahrain, Singapore, the ASEAN Foundation and Albania.

Huawei has also launched the People’s Choice Award in this competition. On Wednesday, at 6:00 p.m. ET, people can watch the contest live on YouTube (link) and vote for their favorite team.
