In a span of just 24 hours, the temperature of the capital increased by almost 2 degrees Celsius on Sunday. However, the average maximum temperature of the country decreased slightly on Sunday.
“The highest temperature recorded in the capital on Sunday was 39 degrees Celsius, which is 1.8 degrees higher than Saturday,” weather department meteorologist AKM Nazmul Haq told Prothom Alo on Sunday afternoon.
