He said his government has given a plan for the country's development till 2100 and asked the students to work to continue Bangladesh's development journey by making necessary amendments in the plan in comparison to the global situation.
The Prime Minister reiterated his firm belief that Bangladesh will not bow down to anyone and will not remain dependent on any other country.
He said, “We will move forward with respect and we will always have to keep this in mind.”
He said that the history of the country's liberation struggle was distorted after the assassination of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
However, he said the real history of the Liberation War has now been revealed to the people as its distorted history has been erased.
He said, “One day our young children and our new generation will take the country forward. But for this, ideals are needed. We have to learn from history. — Be cautious, so that the spirit of the liberation struggle is not destroyed.”
The Prime Minister said that his Government was working for the economic emancipation of the people following the ideals of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman so that the benefits of the Liberation War could reach every household.
