Women cricket is in very early stage here in Bangladesh. But Bangladeshi women cricket team has already managed to show some good signs. Participation of women in sports was not so easy where discrimination against women is so common.
South African women’s cricket team was in Bangladesh to play a three match one day series and a there match twenty twenty series.
Bangladeshi women started well in one day and twenty twenty both. They won the first match of the one day series but lost the last two matches.
Bangladesh women’s cricket team won the first match of the twenty twenty series also and lost the remaining two.
In the last match of the twenty twenty series Bangladesh won the toss and send South Africa to bat. South Africa was all out in 85 runs. At the end it was proved enough for them. Bangladesh managed to bat through full twenty overs, but they only scored 69 runs.
