India, China and America are engaged in competition with each other in the Indo-Pacific region. After the war with Ukraine, Russia has also joined this geopolitical whirlpool. Bangladesh has close relations with these four competing countries. In this context, Michael Kugelman, director of the Washington-based Wilson Center’s South Asia Institute, spoke to Prothom Alo about Bangladesh’s foreign policy and the challenges facing relations between Dhaka and Washington.
