In January, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Under-14 Development Championships took place in Dhaka. Masfia acted as assistant referee in that contest. This time he was given the responsibility of referee, for which he is very happy.
Masfia is working side-by-side with tournament director Thomas Schultz of Germany and fulfilling his responsibilities as referee.
Prior to Masfia, Sarwar Mustafa and Ahmed Ziaur Rahman are the only male Bangladeshis to have served as referees in an international tennis competition. Now, Massafia has started its journey internationally.
