“During my recent visit to India, I had important discussions so that the use of non-lethal weapons on the border could be implemented. Now such weapons are being used which are less lethal. Therefore, some people get injured by rubber bullets and return home,'' he said.
Asked whether the External Affairs Ministry would protest against border killings, the minister said, “We want such incidents not to happen again. This has been opposed by the government through BGB. There was a border meeting.”
