He made the remarks while addressing the inaugural function of ‘Three Months Certificate Course on Customs, Bonds, VAT, Taxes and SD’ as the chief guest.
The event was organized by Bangladesh Garments Accessories and Packaging Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGAPMEA) in association with Bangladesh Tax Training Institute (BTTI) in Dhaka on Sunday.
Azizur Rahman, Commissioner, Customs Bond Commissionerate, Dhaka (North) and MD Moazzam Hussain Moti, President, BGAPMEA also spoke at the event.
In his address, Farooq thanked BGAPMEA for taking the timely training initiative.
He mentioned that the course would help professionals in the apparel, accessories and packaging industry to deal with customs, bonds and VAT related services in compliance with laws and regulations and avoid unnecessary delays and complexity in procedures.
