Faisal Samad and Abdullah Hill Rakib, directors of BGMEA, and Justin Huang, president of Taiwan Textile Federation, were present at the MoU signing ceremony held on May 4 in Taipei, Taiwan.
As per the understanding, Taiwanese companies will also work under this umbrella to share their expertise and know-how to Bangladeshi companies.
It will also facilitate collaboration between industry and academia to identify areas for improvement and capacity enhancement.
The cooperation between Taiwan Textile Federation and Taiwan Textile Research Institute will help Bangladeshi garment companies to understand the strengths of Taiwanese companies.
