The country’s biggest eid jamaat will be held at Sholakia Eidgah here.
Internationally reputed Alem and Islamic thinker Maulana
Fariduddin Masud will conduct the 183rd Eid-ul-Azha prayers at 9
am at the 6.61-acre Sholakia Ground near the old thana in
Kishoreganj town.
The district administration has taken strict security
measures for holding the biggest eid jamaat smoothly.
Bangladesh Railway (BR) has arranged one pair train for
facilitating the devotees who will come to Sholakia Ground to
offer Eid prayers.
BR sources said the up train would leave Bhairab Station at
6 am and reach Kishoreganj at 8 am, while the down train will
leave Kishoreganj at 12 noon and reach Bhairab at 2 pm.
Another train will leave Mymensingh at 5.45 am and reach
Kishoreganj at 8 am, the sources said.
Hazratnagar Shahebbari Zaminder Syed Ahmad first conducted
eid prayers at his own land in Sholakia in 1928.
