Prime Minister Hasina told her Indian counterpart about Bangladesh’s success stories and achievements, while praising the latter for her leadership. He also thanked Sheikh Hasina for her contribution in ensuring a peaceful environment in the north-eastern region of India.
The minister said that the Indian Prime Minister insisted on resolving the outstanding bilateral issues through dialogue.
AK Momen said, “You all know that India is our second largest trade partner. Hon’ble Prime Minister requested the Government of India to ensure uninterrupted supply of essential commodities from India. Both Prime Ministers agreed to accelerate ongoing efforts and activities to enhance our bilateral and regional connectivity with India, including rail and road connectivity,” he said.
